Veronica Emetoyibo Onyagada
Assistant Director (Admin & HR) | Head, General Administration, Lagos Water Corporation
Veronica Onyagada is a seasoned Public Administration, Human Resources, and Facility Management professional with over 25 years of experience in the Lagos State Civil Service. She joined the Lagos Water Corporation in October 2000 and currently serves as Assistant Director (Admin & HR), heading the General Administration unit.
Her career spans critical roles in Public Administration, Project Management, and donor-funded initiatives. She served as Administrative Officer for the World Bank and AFD-funded Second National Urban Water Sector Reform Project (Lagos component), where she managed essential documentation from inception to completion.
Veronica holds a Bachelor of Arts in English (2005), a Master's in Public Administration (2010), and a Master's in Facility Management (2022), all from the University of Lagos, Akoka. She is an Associate Member of the Nigerian Institute of Management, an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management, and a Member of the Association of Facilities Management Practitioners, Nigeria.
Throughout her career, Veronica has demonstrated strong leadership in administrative transformation. She successfully resuscitated the Lagos Water Corporation's Library, coordinated office renovations and asset maintenance, and supervised workplace facilities. She is known for being target-driven, result-oriented, and an excellent team player with strong planning and organizational skills.
